TKW 323.3 kg. Fall not observed. Found June 1967, in Magadanskaya oblast', Russia.



Bernd writes:
Apollo command capsule or bell-like shape with a distorted Widmanstaetten pattern. This slab features a 60 mm long, slightly bent, silvery taenite band enclosing a long, thin, narrow troilite inclusion. There are no olivines in this slab, onyl FeNi metal.

Nice one Bernd...I have a very similar one with the same amazing distorted pattern....good example....thanks for sharing.
