thanks all...and Bernd, enstatite is dominant for this "E" chondrite. I also have some big 5 mm +/- chondrules in the other DAG 734 pieces I have. |

Nice one, John! 0.7 gram pentagonal partslice purchased from Greg Hupe in 2004 in my collection. It features a large, 4 mm enstatite chondrule. |

Matthias...the photo #4 is a look at the radial chondrule located at the lower left-bottom edge of the slice in photo #1. The lighting is different in the two photos. |

Very interesting, John. The structure visible on pic 4: any guess from what that could have been caused?
In any case: beautiful, rare and a pretty low TKW. |
