TKW 1.1 tons (1000 kg). Observed fall February 18, 1948, near Norton, Kansas, USA.

   


Gary writes:
This specimen features a frothy and bubbly fusion crust, which in aubrites is light brown or tan in color. Note the shock melt lithology, which is black instead of the pale blond of a typical unaltered aubrite matrix.
