TKW 344 grams. Fall not observed. Purchased June 2023 from a Morrocan meteorite dealer on the meteorite fair in Ensisheim, France.

I bought it from my friend David Göttlich, who is the owner of the main mass. The slices were prepared by Marcin Cimala (Polandmet). It´s a martian meteorite (Shergottite) 9.4g slice from the 344g main mass. From the MetBul:

The meteorite shows ophitic to poikilitic textures and is predominantly composed of up to 1.5 mm sized pyroxenes (about 50 vol%) and olivines (about 40 vol%) with less abundant maskelynite. Pyroxenes often show patchy compositional zoning and olivines frequently contain trapped melt inclusions. Accessory minerals include merrillite, chromite, ilmenite, and FeNiS. Contains abundant glassy to finely recrystallized shock melt veins and pocket.
