Also I wonder if it is really a bit of crust. I have seen crust on Tatahouine pieces before, and it is always ash-grey, never black.

Thanks Paul for posting this one again. I hadn't seen it previously. Very interesting piece with that fusion crust. I wonder if a piece of diogenite would be picked up by a magnet?
