  Unclassified Iron

Currently being classified.

These iron individuals were said to be found in Ziz in 2023. The features and the elemental composition are consistent with NWA 854, indicating a possible pairing relationship. The type specimen’s composition is: Ni = 7.44, Co = 0.463 (both wt%); Ir = 2.13, Ga = 97.1, Ge = 378, As = 11.1, Sb = 0.220, Ru = 7.58, Pd = 4.31, Re = 0.204, W = 0.993, Pt = 7.37, Cu = 161, Au = 1.52 (all μg/g), measured by Chris Herd using an ICP-MS .

According to the Met.Bulletin, Ziz is a pseudonym for NWA 854, classified by A. Rubin at UCLA.
