Good afternoon, John Luzon - I am using the freeware software Picolay for focus stacking, and in many of the structures, there was a failure in focusing the image, negatively impacting the stacking. For the detail photo with the magnification, I had to select the best one I could. Thanks for the review. |

Good afternoon, John Divelbiss - thank you for your comments. I looked in the Met.Bul Bulletin and found Tirhert. Looking at the photos there, I can say that the crust is similar, but the inner part of Serra Pelada is more light gray. What caught my attention in the image of the crust was precisely the structures that look like translucent bubbles with the honey-colored part visible below. |

Nice little fragment and the crust is like that of TIRHERT. Any crusticles or "points" on the crust? |
