  Ordinary Chondrite

Paladino writes:
I remember exactly the day that our dear Marc showed me this magnificent specimen. He said these words to me - "brother, this is a magnificent specimen, oriented in the shape of a nose, with the vanishing lines at the back of the meteorite."

Marc didn't know how these vanishing lines were formed on the back side of the meteorite, but he told me "brother, this meteorite is exceptional, it can be a source of discussion (for the formation of the vanishing lines on the back side) and I'm happy that this specimen becomes part of your collection."

Thank you dear brother for your precious advice. It is an immense honor for me to have met you. Rest in peace Marc.

Thanks to everyone, with Marc we thought that these escape lines were formed by the Vacuum effect, but the possibilities of these very rare formations could be different.

Beautiful stone, great oriented shape. No idea why the wonderful flowlines are on the "wrong" side. My second distribution to MPOD from 27/09/2917 was a highly oriented Sikhote which I acquired from Marc Jost too. All the best on your way, Marc.
