Nice slice Anne. Wabar has an interesting history, with the original find being initially called Nejed. Some time ago I acquired a slice that originally came from Texas Christian University*s Monnig Meteorite Collection (it's only about a fifth as large as Anne's!). My understanding is that as later pieces were found, they were called Wabar, and that the piece I acquired was from the earlier finds when it was still referred to as Nejed. I found a lot of interesting information on this meteorite, so maybe later I'll do a post that includes some history about this fascinating meteorite.

Thank you Anne, nice one. My 18.6 part slice remains MIA. :-(
