I just became a little jealous while looking to the 33.0g Knyahinya individual again, because I remembered that Peter Marmet was talking one hour to me to let the individual go to his collection. I can say, that the next owner of this great sample will be very pleased by it. |

Yes, I remember the good old time before year 2000. I went to various European museums in the 80ties and 90ties, offering shortly before bought brownish looking Texas, Kansas and Oklahoma chondrites, and received historic and/or semi-historic witnessed European fall samples like the shown 33.0g Knyahinya individual in exchange.
The large number of desert meteorites, coming to the market from year 2000 till now have changed all and closed almost all European museum doors for further meteorites exchanges.
I hope that the lovely looking 33.0g Knyahinya finds a way to a nice collection soon.
