2.2 grams. H4
TKW 13 kg. Observed fall 4 July 2010, Kampong Spoe, Cambodia.
John writes:
Trâpeăng Rônoăs is an H4 meteorite, one of only 3 confirmed meteorites coming out of Cambodia. The Meteoritical Bulletin lists Trâpeăng Rônoăs as a confirmed fall, witnessed in 2010, but not approved until September of 2015 due to the extensive work required to gather information for classification.
This specimen was acquired via trade with Cascadia Meteorite Laboratory. The story of the meteorite was recently published in Meteorite Times Magazine. |

The crust is great and the raised chondrules? in the first picture are cool.
Is it porous as Anne mentioned?
The humid climate doesn't seem to have affected it as much as I would have thought! |

It looks very porous. Somewhat like Mt. Tazerzait. |
