Congratulations to those who are locating these lost specimens of the Casa Grande fireball event of 1998. As some of you may know, my team tried to identify the fall area and searched the land accessible to us at the time (see, for example, page A2, The Arizona Republic, 13 June 1998). We were disappointed, but have long hoped that others would eventually recover material. I also hope that material is made available to the nearby ASU Center for Meteorite Studies or other credible laboratory for study. Congratulations, again, to those who persevered.
