TKW: 3.83 metric tons. Observed fall: no. Found 1861 in Antofagasta, Chile, at the green arrow on this map.

I just found this web site. It is so cool and I wanted to contribute. I'm don't know what the bright colors are from. Maybe soil mineralization. Anybody out there have ideas? Part of the second picture shows the inside of the specimen.

I'm really happy about how fast my picture got on the calendar. Must not be much competition ;)

The light green crystals are made of morenosite ( nickel sulfate ) which is quite common on Vaca Muerta.

WOW, it's a piece of ET art. if I didnt know better I'd think it was a chunk of uraninite with torbernite-greens,and curite-reds. A beauty :-)

Hi: This is the first specimen that that I have seen that shows the greenish coloration of my 66 gram specimen. Cool. Murray
