  Diogenite

TKW 230 grams. Fall not observed. Purchased 2018, Morocco.

Vincent writes:
My very first diogenite classification. Purchased at the Munich Show 2018. The contrast between the green/yellow and black crust is fascinating to me. And there are of course specimens available at my web site.

I love the saturated yellow ochre color which might be limonite from weathered pyroxenes?

Vincent, congrats on your first diogenite classification. Nice one and because it is a nice one there are 3.9 + 5.54 grams in my collection. Love the bright green color of the orthopyroxenes that are visible in the matrix!
