Fantastic piece Thomas! One of the nicest I've ever seen, and I've seen quite a few. |

Thanks for the compliments.
To Roman: Holes in LDG are "naturally" made by sand blowing for hundreds and thousands of years over the glass. Similar to water carving different shapes/holes into stones. Gorilla? Sorry don't see him, but nice that kids can see it :-) And no I don't wear 70g around my neck. T. |

Hello Thomas. Nice piece for sure, Congrats . Im no expert on Libyan desert glass,so please forgive me, but how do you get a perfectly drilled hole in a desert environment. I've seen 3ft. holes 30ft. deep drilled by the hydraulic pressures by Lake Champlains tributaries, but that's some awesome hydraulic force there. I still do not own a Lib glass and would like to. On a lighter note, does anybody else see a gorillas head in that piece too. My daughter said it looks like one and i'll be damned if it dont . The pointy back of the head looks like its a silverback gorilla. Again, a piece full of character like your aquisition is what i would love to own eventually. I do need more Intel on that hole though, Thanks for sharing it with us . Can we assume that you put a strong string through the hole and wear it around your neck once in a while ? Dont be shy :-) Have a Good Night and God Bless Thomas.
