Full slice with destinct, heavy brecciation, polished on one side. The two close-up views are both 8x5 mm.

Three masses of totalling 2476 grams were found during a serach for meteorites in the Agemour region, Algeria, on November 22, 1990. Acfer 166 is classified as a regolith breccia containing solar noble gases, ordinary chondrite, unequilibrated, H3-5, S2, W1.

Mineral Analysis Data: Olivine Fa (mol%): mean 18.0 range 8-20 stddev.: 2.2, Pyroxene Fs (mol%): 16.4 range 8-22 stddev.: 2.6

Classification and analysis: A. Bischoff, Inst. für Planetologie, Universität Münster, Germany.

A lovely find from the beginning of systematic meteorite searchs in Northwest Africa. The slice is in my collection since 1991.
