Marcin writes:
Happy 40th anniversary.

Class and type: Stone. Olivine-bronzite chindrite (H4 [original classification]). A very dark, dense chondrite with regmaglypts and fusion crust.

Number of individual specimens: 1, broken by witnesses.

Total weight: 3618 g (fragments weighing 2875, 562, 114, 46 and 21 g). The main mass of about 1 kg was lost.

Circumstances of fall:
The witnesses reported an increasing buzzing sound as the object descended. It broke the branch of a tree and landed on grass 20 m distant from a group of local residents. The meteorite was taken immediately, and it was cold. The diameter of the round hole was 25 cm and the depth was 10 cm. The direction of fall was from NW at an angle of 60° to the horizontal. "That's funny. You look more like number 2", a quote from Peter Falk's character Sam Diamond in the 1976 movie "Murder by Death". Nice photo of a fresh H3.7 (by the way).
